Car Would Not Start
Car Would Not Start
My son called this afternoon because his 2014 Fit (75,000 miles) would not start. He pushed the START button, and, from what he said, it sounds like the engine started spinning, but it would not start. He had to press the button again to get it to stop. By the time I arrived, he had it running.
Has this happened to any of you? I know if he brings it to the dealer, they'll say, "It worked fine for us. That'll be $75, please."

A friend has always had CR-Vs, but her latest had had a string of problems.
Right, but in this case, the engine spun over freely but would not fire. I'm wondering if the DIY car wash got something wet that should have remained dry. It started after about half an hour.
I guess the question will be does it happen again. If this was a one time thing then yes it might have been due to car wash spray that somehow got into the engine compartment. But if it happens again ....
