Fog Light Bulb Replacement

I got LED replacement bulbs for the fog lights. Is it true that the whole assembly must be removed - the outer cover and then the light itself and finally the bulb? I haven't looked behind it yet, but that would be the easy (non-Honda) way of doing things.

EDIT: I just tried to remove that black cover surrounding the light - no luck. There are three tabs on each side, but using plastic trim tools had no effect on them.

EDIT AGAIN: Got it! https://www.carcarekiosk.com/video/2...lights/foglamp
I even have the black gloves! : )

You access the fogs from just underneath. It's the plastic panel in front of the wheels facing the ground.

Yup, there is a little panel that you push in. If I remember there is a screw or something keeping it close.

I didn't even jack up the car. Just parked near the step down from the garage and that was enough clearance to easily access it.

Thanks to both of you.

I looked and am not seeing this panel you refer to. I wish I could see a photo of it - I searched the usual sources but did not run across one. I will put it on ramps this weekend to get a better look - I'm sure I'm just missing it in plain sight and I will smack myself when I figure it out.

Thanks!

I didn't see a panel, either. I followed the video, but removing that one screw does not give you much room. You have to disconnect more of that fender liner. You have to push in on a tab to release the bulb from the socket.

The panel is directly facing the ground under the wheel liner in the video. It is a little harder to reach the bulb compared to the video.

I find it works better to remove the bulb before trying to disconnect the harness, contrary to the instructions in the manual.
