Exclamation Smart Entry Problem

My smart entry light has been going on/off the last two weeks. I am NOT having problem with anything. I can lock and unlock my doors and hatch and my key fob battery is brand new. Has anyone else have had this problem and what did you do to fix it? I am also out of warranty on my Honda Fit so I’m trying to fix this on my own. Please any advice is greatly appreciated!!

My 16 fit get that light on/off too. I did every thing + new car battery but the light still on/off. I think inside the start/stop button getting dirty. I am looking for the way to get to the button to clean or replace it. If someone knows how to open the cover please share.

I have tried the other key that didn’t work. I’ve heard other people have had this issue with older models and disconnected the battery and it went away. I’m going to try that next.

yah, try the reset. almost sounds like your RF receiver is broken or the antenna becoming intermittent.

i doubt its the actual start/stop button as it's more of just an on/off switch that is not directly tied to the RF module.
