how to adjust headlights?
Anyone know how to adjust the headlight angle on the GK5? It's been bugging me for a while now, I think the angle is too low. There is a spot just outside town where the road goes downhill and it's really bad; last night I nearly hit a forest creature because I didn't see it until it was right in front of me. Just for kicks I went back there with the other cars (2010 Corolla, 2008 XB2) and realized how much higher both those headlights are aimed. This seems to be a persistent problem with Fits in general, according to my research.
I'm not looking for a lecture or anything, I just want to fit the screw or whatever to raise the headlight line a few degrees.

I agree about the upper cutoff being to aggressive on the Fit. If there was even less of an abrupt change from "light" to "dark," it would help a ton. It's borderline unsafe at times as-is. I'll have to poke around underhood and see if I can locate an adjustment screw.

Thank you! I'm sure only a few degrees will do it. My car has that front-end sag and though mine is not as severe as others, I'm wondering now if the sag has anything to do with my headlight problem.

Bumper "sag" won't have anything to do with your headlamp aim, as the headlamps are not attached to the bumper cover.

I just noticed last night that mine has an automatic headlight adjuster. I assume it's for low speed fog driving, but I thought I'd chime in on this topic because I'd never seen anything like that before. Drove for an hour with my headlights adjusted as far down as possible (three way switch located next to the button that disables the anti-skid brake controller) and thinking that this can't be right.

CORRECTION: On my '16 EX-L Nav, I used a wrench on the left headlight to raise the light counter clockwise, as you stand in front and are looking at the car. And ALSO counterclockwise for the right front headlight, standing and looking the same way. Took quite a few turns. I do notice a difference. (My previous info was incorrect stating "clockwise," re the right headlight)
