About once a month, my 19 Fit LX with Carplay with my iPhone 11 plugged in FORGETS that it has Carplay. While I'm using it and driving, the menu reverts to "Smartphone connection" (not Apple Carplat). The only way to get the Fit to recognize that it has Carplay and an iPhone attached is to reset the on-board infotainment screen to factory defaults. Of course, this erases all my AM/FM/XM station presets, and takes about 10 minutes.

I do use an Apple cable and when it works, it works great. It just seems to last about a month before needing a reset.

Is it just me? It's still under warranty but the dealer says they don't have a fix.

 

necro post… There’s an option somewhere about memory refresh. I find disabling (or opposite to default whatever it is) that option tends to help.
