How did you get the power wire through the firewall? Also do you know where I could connect the turn on wire if that were the case?

Even though it wasn’t intended for a DIY there’s a lot of useful info on here. Nice setup!

Congrats buddy! No kids at all for the wife and I here, but we have fur babies, and they tend to be far less expensive. :-)

Thanks bro. I used to have fur babies and they're not cheap either.

Getting thru the firewall: As in the below pic, on the passenger side of the firewall there is a big rubber grommet with a wiring harness in the center, I used that grommet as my entry point.

As for a turn on lead, I can't help you...

Did you cut into the grommet and slip it through or did you push it to the side and run it along ?
