Had the Work's on my RSX, so naturally love them on your Fit. The colour matches your Fit so well.
Love the Spoon mirrors dude, good stuff! I made the mistake of buying the Spoon (stick-on) blue wide view mirrors only to realize our USDM Fit's have wider mirrors.

Anyway, really like your setup thus far. Any news on the Takero flap yet?

Looks great! I would love something similar for the stock spoiler to give it that extra pizazz.

Hey FF! It's been a while. So many things going on and have had so little time to share any updates here although I have been posting updates on my IG (@tougemonstergk5). Currently though, the car is in the hands of San Leandro Honda, where they've diagnosed my "Check Charging System+VSA/PS/Tire" caused by a faulty alternator, which they will be replacing.
They are also replacing my VTC actuator which they've confirmed is also faulty. Perfect timing to get these things fixed before the meet. Extended warranty paying things off..well to this extent.

Stay tuned for post-repairs feedback.

New mods in the pipeline:

Tein Flex Z Coilovers
BeatRush Front Pillowball Mounts
Wilwood DHPA Brake kit
Savanini Rigid Collars
Mugen Front lip+Sideskirts (pending paint match)

Hi,

Did you notice any power drop since the VTC is faulty?

Hey, saw you looking at Tein coilovers.

Would you be interested in a set of KW V1's?
I'm over in San Mateo and have a very lightly used set for sale

I cant tell if there was a loss of power at all, but my overall mpg has dropped significantly. With the VTC replacement, the closing procedure requires valve adjustment, so ill be able to experience (im hoping) a new feel to the engine.

Thanks for the info. I suspected that as well.

So got the car back and she feels brand new again! Feel's good not to stress over the issues that make the car feel unsafe to drive. I've experienced getting flats without the low tire pressure warning me, and VSA not kicking in during wet/slippery conditions. It all narrowed down to a continuity between Alternator 1P connector and PCM Connector A number 26 which triggers the P16E2 CEL code. Alternator replacement solved the problem.

For the VTC rattle, VTC actuator was replaced and included a valve adjustment that is part of the repair procedure. Rattle gone. Well hopefully it never comes back like some other GK owners have reported.

Details from the work order:

Now the car sits at 79,800 miles. Hopefully no more issues until I reach 150K. I think the Injector replacement was worth while so atleast I got that checked off the list. Now I can finally focus on the brake and suspension upgrades.

The moment they pulled her out of the shop:

Thanks San Leandro Honda!

Hi,

Is. It a requirement to have the license plate below the headlight? The angle at which it is attached is breaking the aerodynamics of the front bumper

Certain states in the US require a front license plate, although not necessarily specifically as to where it is mounted.

Thanks for the info. Ours is mounted right in the middle of the bumper face where I think is the best position. Evo/Alfa style just spoils the airflow the bumper is designed for.
