OK, so quick update, I have owned my Fit for 4 years this month. It went from my daily driver to my HPDE car. I have a fully built L15B1 motor, and was going for the N/A world record. Unfortunately, I switched goals and am fully pushing to Global Time Attack. At this point, I am preparing to boost the engine, finish the roll cage, install all safety equipment, upgrade brakes, suspension, tires, and build carbon fiber aero. Then shakedown runs and tune. I have a Link ECU which supports direct injection and boost. I have a few folks who are helping me build the car, namely Hotboii Factory in San Antonio owned by Josh Brown. I am hoping to be in a Grid Life event in August so we will see.
Goal is 505 Crank Horsepower @ 2,000 lbs, same as my Z06, just half a ton lighter!
Mods so far:
ENGINE:
1.6L L15B1 block built and assembled by Golden Eagle. Align bore honed, sleeved, custom Traum 12.5:1 pistons, Maxpeeding rods, ARP hardware throughout
PPR Motorsport CNC ported head with 1mm oversize intake, 2mm oversize exhaust, titanium hats and retainers, PPR valve springs, titanium coating on valves.
Bisimoto Stage 3 Grind by Web Cam
RZCrew Intake manifold
Walbro 525 E85 pump
Link G4 GDI ECU
Hardwire PDM 15

Getting ready for track weekend coming up
My second time to Spring Mountain. Requested an instructor again, at least for day 1. Then I drop off 180 lbs of ballast and watch out! I got the ktuner v2 in the mail and I'm wondering if I should do a baseline run with the stock tune. I've done a lot of mods since May, and plan on a lot more. Maybe I should just go straight to the canned tune???
