Z062FIT's 2017 GK HPDE Demon Build Thread

*** If you stumble onto this page, I try to keep the mod list as fresh as possible... ***

OK, so I thought I'd start a build thread and consolidate one place where I can put all the stuff I've done, and the stuff I want to do, to the Fit. It's my daily right now, but I like to do high performance driving events (HPDEs) out at Spring Mountain, and hopefully some other locations going forward.

Mods so far:
Weapon-R Cold Ram Air Intake thru Fog light
HPS Short Ram intake
HKS Silent Power over the axle exhaust
RV6 catted downpipe
BC Racing DS Series Coilovers 10K Front/8K Rears
Koni STRT shocks and struts
Tein performance springs
Progress Rear Sway Bar
.5* negative camber and .25* positive toe shims for rear
SPC camber bolts in the front for negative camber
Konig 15 x 7.5" Hypergrams
Maxxis VR-1 205/50/R15s (my race tires and rims)
Rear fenders rolled and internal noise reducing felt flaps trimmed
Power Stop racing rotors and pads
Porterfield R4S brake shoes
Goodridge stainless steel brake lines (all 4)
Motul RBF 660 racing brake fluid
Acuity Shifter Bushings
Schroth 4 pt racing harness
U80A urethane for stiff mounts
OE Honda Mud flaps (4 ea)
Limo tint all the way around, ceramic tint on windshield
Rockford Fosgate amp and 12" sub
Drilled out the fake vent panels on the rear bumper
Ported my intake manifold at home

Ordered but not installed:
CR-Z Buddy club short shifter (will have to mod on my own) It never came in... Canceled order
Samurai Sword shift knob (for height and bling) I bought the wrong thread count, sitting on kitchen table for months...
IK22 plugs IK22 plugs were a half inch shorter than what was in car, so I did not install...

Mods I still want to do:
Battery relocation
TCS Caster Camber Plates
Spoon or custom B-pipe
HANS device (must have for racing with Porsche club starting in January '19).
Light-weight Coleman custom fabbed front rotors
Big brake upgrade
Port the throttle body
Port the intake
Ram-air cold air intake
Port and polish head with valve job
Stage 3 Web Cams - Bisimoto spec
75mm pistons 12.5:1 compression
Stronger (lighter?) piston rods
ARP hardware
Underdrive pulley
Maybe disc brakes in the rear some day
camera bar, race seat?
CD-1A 6.5" speakers
Wrap the roof, and my knock-off spoiler
Side skirts
2019 rear diffuser
Carbon Lightweight clutch, flywheel, pp
Limited Slip Differential

I'll post some more pics but just wanted to get this down. I think that list would hold me pretty good. The car has been pretty fun to mod so far, easy to work on, and a joy to drive. Having a lot of fun with it.
Cheers! -d'Art

Getting ready for track weekend coming up

My second time to Spring Mountain. Requested an instructor again, at least for day 1. Then I drop off 180 lbs of ballast and watch out! I got the ktuner v2 in the mail and I'm wondering if I should do a baseline run with the stock tune. I've done a lot of mods since May, and plan on a lot more. Maybe I should just go straight to the canned tune???
