Hey Guys, I know there probably is already a discussion on this, but what is the perfect rim/Wheel size for the GK5 LX CVT? I'm already thinking of upgrading a size bigger. Anyone who has personal experiencing with upgrading in rim size and what offset is best. Was thinking of the new SSR-Wheels Fomula MK3 Neo Rims.

 

Honda engineers spent a lot of time figuring out the optimal rim and tire size for most owners of the Fit.

If you aren't one of these, you're going to have to define your usage a bit better. Track guys will want large, wide rims with spec race tires. Low riders will want 13" wide rims with 165 series tires stretched onto them. Rally guys... well you get the idea!

 

well for me, I was just simply gonna upgrade my wheels to make my ride look good but also to loose weight since the Steelies are freaking crazy in weight. I'm riding stock, don't know if I'll lower the car honestly. Was think of going 16" or 17" wheels. Does this help? I'm not gonna race on it or anything. I just want the car to look good is all. As stated before I'm going for the SSR-Wheels. thanks

 

I think 15s or 16s with around a +45 offset look really nice.

I have bronze 16x7 Rota Circuit 10s with +45 offset on my crystal black pearl Fit. I hope to get some kind of white Sprint Hart cp-f or spoon sw388 in 15x7 with around the same offset.

You won't be able to run the MK3's without considerable modification. The offset is pretty low in the 15" size

From what I have seen others run you can basically run a similar setup as any GE as long as you remain in a reasonable offset and width.

16x7.5 or 17x7.5 wide in an offset of +35 to +45 will fit very easily
