So today the Fit was on price is right as a prize, the guy didn't win, but what ever... it was there, some of you wes-coasters should still be able to catch it....

I watched the showcase showdown, so I just missed it. I'll guess it was a Base BBP. Most likely all cars on there are auto. Old people can't drive stick, lol.

 

There is an elderly couple across my street. The husband has a MR Fit and the wife has Tidewater... both Sport/Auto. It's cute

 

I watch TPIR at work every day on my lunch break, and they've had 3-4 Fits on in the past few weeks. My co-workers freaked the first time, because I knew exactly what the cost of a base Fit was.

 

Hmm. I have a friend with a VPB Fit...it's nice and she's a chick that into JDM/Import scene. I'm getting her to go to car meet with me around Houston.

 

SheepNuts is correct..they've had the Fit on 3 or 4 times in the last few weeks...(been watching P.I.R. while recouping from a broken ankle and have seen it more in the last 3 months than the last 30 years..
I believe they were all Tidewater Blue.
They were definitely the base models!

 

Kind of embarrassing to admit, but TPIR is where I first got a good look at the Fit and helped make up my decision to buy one

I'd been a Toyota man up until recently when my Avalon started crapping out a few weeks ago, and right around the time I was looking for a replacement I saw the Fit on TPIR, along with the great price I'm glad it caught my attention, because I'd been looking more at Yarises up to that point and the Fit is better in pretty much every single way.

 

..on the show again today...a Tidewater Blue Fit and it was won by a serviceman who was getting married within a few days!
It was a base and the price on the show was 15754.00 for those who want to play along next time

Yet the announcer said 'with keyless entry' which we don't have on our base here so maybe it came with the security package option.(?)
