I like having my car quiet and I'm not going for max h.p. So...I'd like to put a slightly larger tip on my stock exhaust...just for a better look. What would that involve?

 

larger tip? like a bigger pipe on the back of the muffler? that wouldnt take much, and it would look cool. talk to a muffler shop!

 

That more depends on which gen Fit you have. The GD has a muffler with a bent tip that faces the ground. The GE tip is straight out the back. Both could be modified with a larger tip, but one would be easier (and cheaper) to do so with.

You can go to places like Pepboys and buy a bolt on tip.

 

Just don't get silly and go for the 4" sewer pipe look, that would be riceus maximus

 

make a trip to the music store and buy a saxophone and weld it on. some sweet tunes.

 

you can got into your local Honda dealer and buy a 2008+ Accord tip and make it work.
