Help!

while disassembling, i've some how manage to strip the top of the struts. Now i can't finish the passenger side. Can anyone think of a solution to this problem?



thanks, i'm putting everything back together for now.

get some tape and just jam the allen key in there, or if you have a welder. tack weld the allen key to it? idk just throwing some ideas out there

This has happened to me before. If you have an impact wrench, you can get the nut going on the threads. Get the nut past top where you can grip the top of the threads with some vice grips, then continue tightening the nut with a wrench. (at least this worked for me)

Another thought would be to weld/glue/epoxy an allen head bit in there, then you could grip it with vice grips and tighten the nut with a wrench.
