Should I install Aftermarket Alarm?

Just got a 2008 Fit Sport w/ 84k Miles.
Do thievs target the GD Fit models?
I got rim locks, and it’s completely stock; gonna keep it that way.

Should I install an aftermarket alarm with extra security to kill fuel/starter?

Yea it has factory immobolizer, just curious if Honda Fits get stolen often enough to worry about adding extra layers of security.

the factory sport wheels tend to get stolen if you have those. then perhaps tilt sensor might make sense if u park in the street.

Hmm that’s a good point for the tilt sensor as I will be street parking

I’m sure in some areas it’s more likely to get stolen. If I lived in a city I might have an alarm.

I second the tilt sensor from a towing perspective or taking the wheels. Wheel locks are easy to take off. Chances are an alarm would scare them off.

I'd just make sure I have a good insurance policy and call it a day. Or, install a dummy LED and stickers to deter wheel thieves.

Stock radio, stock wheels? I wouldn't mess with an alarm that might drain the battery faster

I’ve read lots of post of stolen wheels for the GE models. Might just install a tilt sensor to detect vehicle lift, and maybe remote start for added bells and whistles to my GD3. As far as insurance coverge that’s out of question as it is salvaged title due to fender bender.
