hey Alex, since you and me are the only ones on the peninsula, should we go over to the east bay? I'll take my 2 12"s in my trunk, but not sure if I will have my trunk finished by then.

Alright, East Bay is a big place! Ivan(Ciburri), Jeff(EXWRX), and me all are pretty close and it would make sense for us to meet somewhere like Pleasanton because its not out of the way for any of us..I kinda dont want to go THAT out of the way to haul down together because we do have to be there around 10am, and wake up early anyway..

 

Oh man, that's a LOT of driving for me... I'll probably meet up with the rest of the East Bay folks before heading down, but I probably won't be bringing kebobs this time, sadly. I'll figure out what I'm going to bring.

 

I think we need to make a OFFICIAL east bay meeting place and time! I say Pleasanton, anybody else have any ideas?

The purpose of this meet is the mountain drive, not elaborate food preparation. Just bring a sandwich and something to drink in a small ice chest. CuTeBoi wants to bring ribs, already cooked, and that's fine, but the food for this trip should be no big deal- this isn't intended to be a big picnic because from now on the weather on Mt. Hamilton won't be very comfortable for sitting outside. The prevailing winds blow right in from the coast and Mt. Hamilton is the tallest thing in the way.

The weather right now is gorgeous, but don't count on it to stay that way for long up there.

 

The official date is Nov 10, or is it Nov 11?

I'll plant my Fit right in front of the showroom and wait.
We can stick around there until 8:30am and then head south.
Jeff and Bernard have my cell. I'll PM it to Tyler and Steve and anybody else planing to meet with us. Just PM me your cell number and I will reply with mine. This way if anybody is runing late we'll be able to comunicate.

BTW, anybody have 2-way radios? I have a couple I use when skiing. If somebody else has them, bring them! It is more practical than cell phone for comunication while riding in formation. Instant connection with everybody who has it with range of up to 2 miles!

FOOD! I have a small, $20 BBQ that runs on small propane bottle. We can use it to warm up, or finish up food without lighting up any BBQ pits.
Just pre-cook your meat, keep it in warmers and think finger food variety when planing!

That is the shame since it is by far the best color for the Fit! LOL!

I'm bringing precooked food and heating packets (kind for injuries) to keep it warm on the last bit of our run. Not bringing much, but I'm sure I'll have 1 for each person at least, I'm not bringing that much like last time, I didn't know I brought 3 times more than I though.

Also, I was thinking of getting some 2way radios from radio shack, hope they can all communicate, but i'm sure they will.

Now to get that car carpet ordered so I can finish up my trunk, and get at least one of the amplifiers that I needed 400w sub amp./

 

Dayam, this is going to be my first fit meet. I am rather excited to see so many fits.

I think we should meet up around 8:30-9am and head out around
9-9:30am to San Jose from Union City at Lowes in Union Landing. That should give us ample time to meet up with everyone.

What do you think about those times Fliptek?

 

Any Central Valley FitFreaks want to make this ride? If you are located in the Modesto area, and want to caravan...let me know. This trip should take about 90 minutes from this here. This could be the last one for 2007...so, "Snooze you lose!"
