Sorry for the rant!
That's OK- what you said about CA is right! Where's home? Where are you stationed- Camp Pendleton? North Island Repair Base? Miramar?

Man,
I've been in the Marines for 23 years....so no place really.

Stationed in Camp Pendleton.

I'm originally from Miami, Fl.

But home is where my seabag sits, however short that time may be...

Best place (for me) was a little town called Beaufort in S.C.

I've been to Beaufort, and been to Camp Pendleton and all of the San Diego bases that I mentioned. Beaufort IS a nice area!.

You in the Marines? How'd you move around so much?

I lived on Lady's Island. Wish I could go back....

No, I'm not a Marine, but that's the government's fault. Tried to enlist during the Viet Nam era, but they wouldn't let me in due to 4F status- diabetes. My familiarity with military bases all over the country comes from business trips over 25 years.

I paid like $5 for some little round plate things (I dunno what to call them), with adhesive on the back. I stuck it to my dashboard (I did the same in my Insight when I had it) and then stuck the suction cup to it... I actually like where its mounted and it was pretty cheap...

They say they were made by 3M and they are about 3 & 1/2" in diameter...

Yeah, the law sucks. Like how I got pulled over for my yellow lights. But O gpot the Sirius Radio on my window and cop didn't tell me nothing on that when he pulled me over. It was at night to and it was still on and bright on my window lol and still didn't mentioned it.
