Pick a Date For Ride Quality Meet
We need to pick TWO consecutive weekends- post your name and the two weekends that you CANNOT attend because of other responsibilities/commitments.

Originally, at least 13 Fit owners expressed interest in this meet. Aside from the few of us who are open any weekend, we have only heard from 3 people. One of them can't come at all, and I don't even know if the other two have non-stock springs. We need ciburri, bernardio, and several others to commit in order to have anything to compare with your Progress springs. BlackCobra hasn't even had the chance to get his Swift springs installed.
It took a long time to organize all of the previous Bay Area meets. We know that you are anxious, but pushing this will reduce the numbers and the effectiveness of the meet.
Take a drive on your new springs. Relax. If you need to burn energy, send PM's to the rest of the 13 from your old thread and ask them to post here so we have more to work with.

Im not trying to push it all dude. I was under the impression that this meet was planned for January? Well its Jan 1st and alot of people need to know in a advanced what the date is so they can take of work. This Thread has alot of views and not so many reply's which tells me that most people are open, if they werent they would post. Belive me im not tying to rush things man, i just think if we get a date people can plan around them in advaned, rather then a week before, then they have no time to plan around the date of the meet. All of our other meets we had a date set way in advanced. At this point we should set a date for early feb if we are going to wait on this thread. But ill just go with the flow...

Tyler,
If you want to pick the date, go right ahead. You threw this decision to me, and I was trying to give the people with jobs and families the opportunity to post their "can't make it" weekends, and you agreed with the idea.
It doesn't matter at all to me when the date is, or if you want to set it. The fact that there are so few replies is obviously due to the busy holiday season. If this gets delayed until February, so what?
Please either take this over, announce that you are doing so, and pick your date. Otherwise, let it take its course to gain as many participants as possible. There are no hard feelings on my part either way.
Thanks.

OK-
How's this?
If we have enough confirming posts to make the meet worthwhile by 1/19, we set the meet for 1/26 or 2/2 depending on rain. If not enough interest by 1/19, maybe this was a bad idea to start with, and should be set aside until warmer spring weather.
POST, PEOPLE. Please?

how long does it take to install the springs. if it doesnt take too long then maybe we can install it first thing when we get there. we would have 4 jacks and would be able to take the tires off in not time. i can go to kragen or auto zone and rent the spring compression.
i dont know if it is possible but i thought i put the idea out there and see what you guys thnk

Ummm...It kinda takes some time. I dont think it would be a very good idea to do it in a parking lot. We have some mechanics who can help you out with the install some time, i belive dave knows how and i know Ivan knows how. I just went over to Ivans to put mine on and with out him i know id be lost lol. I would offer for you to come to my place and id help you out but im 100% sure on how to do it still lol.
