I know im 2 months late on this thread. LOL. but you should check out the Sigma DP1. Its a sick little point and shoot. You could probably classify it as one of those "SLR-like" cameras. I'd so pick one up, but i upgraded to a D90 this week.

I have a Canon t1i and love it. However its a dslr but it has 1080 hd video, you'll love it...
