Hello, I'm a UK Jazz owner 2006 1.4SE Auto , 7000 miles, really great car. Does anyone else have trouble with misting up in certain conditions where only the use of the air-con. will clear it? I have suffered this on both Jazzes I have owned, it seems there is a lack of air throughput. I removed the rear trim panel in the boot that contains the air exit grills, it just snaps out, behind there are four "grommets" about one and a half inches in dia. I removed these , allowing the "exit air" a better throughput, since then I have had no problem at all with misting up, this is all I did, replaced the trim panel of course. I contacted Honda UK and talked to a service advisor, he couldn't tell me if these grommets were related to different markets where the Jazz/Fit is sold but seemed not to object to the "mod" if it worked for me! Would like to hear from anyonewith any comment on this subject.

Ps, the misting up could of course be cleared by increasing the temp of the air but this is not the answer in summer when a sudden shower will cause the problem
Comments pleas, John
