FITFREAK.NET AND MYSELF WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IF YOU GET HURT OR IF SOMETHING BREAKS FOLLOWING THESE INSTRUCTIONS! I FOUND THESE INSTRUCTIONS FROM AN ONLINE EDM MANUAL FOR AN 05 FIT!

Now that I got that out of the way, disconnect the battery and wait at least 3 mins. The ESM says that you have to remove the access panel below the steering wheel. That gives you access to two Torx bolts on either side of the steering wheel as well as the harness for the SRS airbag. Disconnect the airbag connector and remove the Torx screws on either side of the airbag to remove the airbag. This will give you access to the two screws that hold those plastic pieces in place.
