DIY on Installing Xenith Xenons HID Kits
With the exception of 2 screws the entire bumper is held in place by one way fasteners. The holes have to line up exactly or the fasteners will not go back in. So, there's NO way to put the bumper back on crooked. Ours has been off 5 times and looks just like it did from the factory.
The main advantage of pulling off the bumper is that you gain access to cavities to put the control box or in our case boxes (headlight and fog) in. The install can be done without removal, but not as cleanly.
That being said, as with any other car work, if you don't feel comfortable and don't have any friends with experience, find a professional.

can you post those picture b/c I just wondering where your guy place them???
Thanks
Nice DIY but I have to ask... why did you use the hardwire kit instead of just installing the bulbs and ballasts? I just installed the ballasts and they look, work well, and are a very nice spread 8000k.... the highbeams could use a better kick however

The Kit I'm using is the bi-xenon meaning both the low beam and hight are HID and by wat you are saying, you have the HID w/ halogen bulbs meaning you low beam is HID and your high beam is a halogen bulbs.

Yeah the Bi-xenon setup is going to require you to connect the ballasts to the battery. That's the way it powers the high-beams and supplies power to the battery.
So when we gonna kick it Peter? You're on break right?

i dont want sound like i am correcting you on your product, but isnt the power from the battery just to make the solonoid move the bulb back and forth,so it clears the shield on the bottom of the bulb which makes the light reflect off of the bottom of the housing reflector and direct the light at higher angle. the battery power does not connect to the ballasts, but to the wiring harness with built in relay.

you will be only get the bulbs but you will need the wires to connect the two ballast and then connect to the battery, I would recommend you to just the bi xenon first, rather then switching it down the road b/c it will save you the time and money.
George- I was on break last week, but if you want to kick this week just hit me up
I got the set from theljnet.com with Low HIDs/ High Halogens and connected only the ballasts and bulbs, however, the box came with a hardwire kit and a fuse, but the fuse was rated lower then the stock one. So I dont know if you have the same one but if you buy the bulb for the highbeam and try it then let me know, would love to hear the results or see em.
the reason I was asking is bc I have "access" to a "used" kit but its xenon low/hal high....
sooo.. If I take the kit should it have the right parts for bixenon...
Thanks anyway.

the only thing you can reuse is the ballast, then you need new wire and bulb and make sure to get it from the same company the ballast is made or they may be different connectors and may cases problem and can be dangerous.
Thanks for the DIY Peter. I didnt use it to install the HID lights, but i did use your bumper and light removal instructions to take out my stocks and throw in the black ones on my SSM Fit. Thanks Again.
oh and this might have been covered already but i see it anywhere above
.
DONT FORGET TO MAKE SURE THE FOAM PIECE IS IN PLACE WHEN PUTTING YOU BUMPER BACK ON!!!!!

I'm not an expert, but I don't think you'd have the right parts. The Bi kit comes with a different bulb assembly and control box for changing the bulb position for the Hi. So the only thing that would be useable from the used kit would be the igniter box and the bulbs themselves. You'd have to buy the control box, bulb assembly, and wiring. I don't think that would be cost effective.

Alright, you will be fine, but just remeber it sometime cheaper to buy a new kit rather building it piece by piece, that my 2 cent for the day.
