I have encountered these problem before w/ my early HID, and here some ways to troubleshoot, check the connection between the plugs and then switch the ballast around and if you still have this problem check your grounding cable and check the cable for any expose wires, then check the connection on the battery to the HID......also is your HID XX and how long did have been for???? hope this help if not, we can come up with another plan.
could be ballasts going bad, one of my lights did that once, it came on then went off, and i turned the lights on and off and it came back on. the next day the same thing happen, but it did not come back on. my kit was only a month old, so i switched the ballast out with one off of my hid fogs, and it worked. i called george at xenith, and he sent me out a replacemnt ballast a week later. no more problems so far. pretty good service from george, and if your reading this george, i will be sending out the bad ballast this friday.
