XM Radio install?!?!?!

Hey my wife just got me an XM Radio for xmas and I'm unsure exactly how to make it work in my Fit! Particularly regarding how to make the antennas work.

Has anyone installed done on their car yet? If so any help would be greatly appreciated!

You gotta route the wire from the receiver location to somewhere outside the vehicle. I put mine on my rear hatch by the spoiler.

So then do u ever physically attach it to your roof antenna outside the car or just mounted anywhere?

It just seems impossible to mount it to the factory antenna using what they give you.

Nope, you have your roof antenna for your regular radio and the XM antenna for your satellite radio. Place it where you would like it.

Nope, XM radio should come with an antenna that is a magnet on the back. You can route it anywhere to the outside of the car.
