really? huh...they must've pulled it off their store. they use to have them.
they're probably concentrating on reducing other brands and concentrating
more on Prima products which is their own brand. (great stuff too).

What do you think a rotary buffer is???????
His Porter Cable is a high speed rotary buffer....Im not getting in a pissing contest with you about who is the better detailer. I have been detailing cars for over the past 5 years. And have seen first hand what a buffer can do to a cars paint.

Im not trying to get into a pissing contest with anyone. I read what he said he bought and that was a PC kit which 99% of the time tends to be a PC 7424.
The PC 7424 is a random orbital buffer which has no rotational action at all. It randomly oscillate at 1-6000 oscillations per minute . That means it has a very slim chance or damaging his paint.
A rotary on the other hand will damage paint very quickly if used improperly.

It'll definitely help, thanks for the link! I'll probably be checking out Autogeek.net's online videos again before I try this out. Can't wait till the spring

yep, newbs tend to think that it's the turning of the pad on the random
orbitals that does the job.
not true. the pad could be stopped, yet the pad's doing hundreds if not
thousands of tiny orbits working in your product into the paint. this is
why this tool is so efficient vs doing it by hand... plus much safer than
direct drives cause the oribits are in random minimizing heat.
the pad spinning speed is rather more of monitoring how much pad
pressure you're putting onto the paint with the respect to speed setting.
