I will do it this way but would prefer to be able to leave the foglight switch to 'on' and not have to deal with turning 2 things off instead of just one. Call me lazy but it would be nice to just have the foglights come on when the parking lights are on and go off when i shut my lights off.
give me a little time and i may be able to figure something out this weekend.

I echo what was said above... Glad someone redid this "mod". Makes it ALOT easier to figure out what is going on. You states you have no other lights on and no dimming of any of your dash lights as well and that was what i was looking for. Thanks again for taking the time!

You can get it @ autozone or pepboys or kragen get the small one coz that's the one that fits into the fuse box.

Yeah I got mine form Pep Boys. If you didn't know already you need a mini fuse tap, they sell them mini and standard, you want the smaller one.

And I to am getting the lights dimming in the dash... its not liek the whole cluster dims out, it has the same affect as turning the headlights one, the odometer and warning lights dim and thats it.

Also now you can use your high beams AND fogs at the same time thats like the ultimate dark road light output.

Do you mind if I change up the instructions a bit? Theres actually an easier way with some of the same steps that you have. This will make it even easier for everyone. I have done it for 4 Fits already and they came out perfect. I like your DIY though. Let me know. If its a yes then, i'll take pics and post them up tonight and maybe we can conjoin the DIY to make it easier for everyone. THanks Atticus.

The 99-00 Civics had a very easy procedure to get the fogs to come on with the parking lights. It entailed switching around some wires in the harness by popping the pins out of the harness. Totally reversible too and no cutting.

I really like the OP's how to also, it's written very well and easy to follow. I'm just wondering if there is a similar procedure.

.
this is what i was talking about, you switch the fog light switch ground wire from how its connected to the headlights, and connect it to the parking lights, should all be on that one harness, or perhaps all on the relay below the dash?
but i havn't tried anything, i will try to get a wiring diagram and look around

ok heres what i have found so far, i had it backward,
when the headlights are turned on the fog light relay receives Power to activate the relay, not ground
so
under the dash at the fog light relay, the red/white wire is the wire that receives power when the headlights are on

i have not been able to find the parking lights relay, i can here it click under there, but i havn't located it yet
but if we can find it i think all that we would need to to is tap a wire from the parking light relay power to the fog light red/white wire, enableing the fog light relay to be ON when in parking light and headlight mode
