i pulled both mirrors off and painted them black. they ended up matching really well with the car. i'll post up a pic of an SSM Fit photoshopped with gloss black side-mirrors if it helps.

SSM with black side mirror (borrowed the picture form another Fit owner, let me know if you want it removed)

you can use my pics

ouch!

that sucks, i have this pretty mean scratch on the left rear bumper . i figured i got it from the parking lot behind my working place during work (makaloa plaza) because most of the drivers there cant park right in a slanted parking stall. totally flipped out when i found out the next morning

Lucky or unlucky? I use a wheelchair or a cane on "good days" so I park in Handicapped parking place.( I have legit sticker) There are many people that pull into handicapped spots and jump out and run into store and stay for hours while there are other people that need these handicapped parking places. (I have a friend that uses a folding wheelchair and someone at Wally World parked so close she could not get her wheelchair back in the car. We went in the store and told the manager and this guy comes out all pissed off because he had to move his vehicle out of the HC parking so it would not get towed. What the XXXX is wrong with some people?!)So far no scratches but even then some people park so close I can barely squeeze back in my Fit if I am using my cane and need good balance to get in and down to seat. If I am using my wheelchair I can load it in the back and hold on to the car going around to drivers door. The Fit works great for lightweight folding wheelchair as the back hatch is not up so high and there is plenty of room in the cargo space. If I want to put wheel chair behind passenger seat that works using the "magic seats" but I need to get door all the way open to get it in. The Fit works great with its various seat configurations and room for things. Gotta love the Fit but not some people! Park next to me and I promise I will not even touch your car.
