How many times have you washed your car so far?

I've had mine three weeks on Thursday and I've washed it four times already.

Once. Needs to be twice, but it's been raining on & off and the carwash station in my complex has been roped off for a week now.

If it ever stops with the intermittent raining, I guess I'll be taking it over to a car wash shop in order to clean up the hood and vacuum the interior before I put my new floor mats down.

commercial car wash?

A bit off topic but is it good to use commercial car wash or should I hand wash? Before the honda fit, I have an 89 toyota tercel and never washed that. If commercial car wash is okay, what should I look for when choosing a commercial car wash, is touchless the best? Thank you for your advice.

By the way, I have been lurking around for a while and I have had my vivid blue fit sport MT for a week now and has 345 miles on the car.

Washed mine once; and in doing so discovered to my dismay that the sheet metal on the top of the car is so thin, that it pops in and out with hardly any pressure. I couldn't do that if i tried to my wife's 04' VW Jetta.

My Jetta also has the moonroof -- the continuous sheet metal must be like 4x shorter than the top of my Fit, so yeah it's easier to flex. The Jetta is also easier to wash and wax...

I think people get waaay too crazy about car soap and wax... if you're managing to wash and wax your car on a regular schedule, you're doing great! I think the exercise is more important than the shiny paint...

I've had it since April 21st (two weeks now) and I've washed it 2 and a half times. The half is because I kept rinsing off the back end every other day the first week because it kept gathering dust during our intermittent drizzle.
