Washing your FIT, products, techniques, answers
My Jetta also has the moonroof -- the continuous sheet metal must be like 4x shorter than the top of my Fit, so yeah it's easier to flex. The Jetta is also easier to wash and wax...

Loving the 1/2 answer...
Ah, but how many times have you wiped down or vacuumed the INTERIOR of your car, since buying it? This black interior is driving me nuts! While the dimpled pattern on the dash is nice for diffusing reflected light (and dilutes the "plastic is everywhere" look a little), it holds onto every spec of dust like a magnet!

Once by hand and I took it through a carwash once as well. To be honest, it might not get washed all that much. I hate black cars but wanted to get it quickly so I can start saving on gas.
I washed my Element the other day and realized that it was only the second time I washed it in 3 years. Luckily I have a dealer that does a halfway decent wash job every time it is in for an oil change. That being said, if I really cared about the car, I'd never let the dealer wash it.
I was a bit more **** (hahahah, they block out the word Ay-nill, hilarious.) with my S2000 and even my del Sol was treated better. I just can't get excited about washing my daily driver.
So far I have a mere 1800 miles on it in about 3 weeks. The month before that, I drove 4000 miles, so I am way off my normal mileage. Things will be picking up again in the next week...I'll probably have 3000 on it this time next week. Maybe then it will get a wash.

I work at a dealer so I have had it professionally detailed every day for three weeks. They have even taken to returning my car to me at the end of the day with new accessories installed (thats happened 5 times now) and are now roping it it off in the show room because I have the only regularly accessible fit for people to look at but not touch. BTW the Honda Factory Performance exhaust system looks and sounds awesome I recommend it to anyone waiting for performance parts to get released stateside.

They love me at my dealership, hahah.
As for the black interior, I haven't bought a FIT yet but my old '04 WRX had an all-black interior, complete dust magnet.
I kept "Swiffer" wipes in my glovebox and swiffered the dash/trim once a day, kept the car looking positively spotless inside.

I helped the salesman by giving "true owner's testimony". We did the whole Magic Seat demo and everything.

A friend with a vintage Jaguar swears by Meguires wax. Works great on old paint, too.
Haven't seen any touch-up paint for Fits advertised. The Honda dealers carried it for my Accord. The Fit body is so low to the ground. I've already discovered a couple of small knicks -- probably from road debris -- on the bumper. I have a Storm Silver so I can probably find something close.
