Honda brand brake fluid

The owners manual makes quite an issue about using only Honda brand brake fluid vs. DOT 3 or 4 from auto supply stores. Does anyone know how real this is or what is different about their brake fluid? Thanks.

for tranny, use Honda liquid only, for brakes, do a complete flush
and use what you want (dot 3 / dot 4 / dot 5.1).

DO NOT USE DOT 5, IT'S NOT THE SAME THING !

I used Valvoline dot 4 in my clutch cylinder, now it squeaks and makes noises.

DO NOT USE NON GENUINE!
