trust me... the Fit AC system does not weigh 80 lbs... more like 30 lbs at most.

is that including a/c compressor, lines, condenser, fan, interior a/c box?

i'll be damned if it is 30lbs! the compressor alone is pretty damn heavy itself.

take out the dash, you'll see the huge a/c system box on passenger side. start yanking it out since you already got rid of the external stuff. then reweigh it u might be suprised.

Three rear seat headrests (done to improve rear visibility) 3.8 lbs. Does anyone know the weight of the stock front seats?

Seriously the whole time i've had my fit I have hardly EVER used my a/c. Even on the hottest of hot summer days and i live in southern california. I just roll down my windows and let the wind work its magic. Removing the a/c system will only improve mpg if the you previously used a/c consistenlty right? I thought removing a/c would render more HP because the belt used to run the a/c compressor would be eliminated, true?

i don't think it will improve MPG, the only thing you will benifit from removing it will be weight savings of about 20 lbs from the front nose.

Well....
I weighted the Fit yesterday at the track and it was 2,309lbs

Manual sport without rear seats, spare and jack, and the wheels are konig heliums with toyo AR1.

It was 2,499 with me so I weight 190 lbs with helmet hehehehehe!!!

Time for a diet!!!
