The stock intake manifold is utilized in the kit. The stock airbox is replaced, with a KraftWerks air filter.

Hey Oscar,
I was wondering if you would have the kit Carb legal before you begin the pre-sale because I would definitely be interested in placing an order if the 5 lb kit was street legal before I purchased it. I've noticed many companies labeling their products as carb pending and then they never follow through, so the item becomes illegal to have installed on the street. I'm not saying that you guys will not make every attempt to get a Carb EO# for the kit, but I just want some reassurance that I won't be pulling this thing off, when the time comes for a Smog check. Again really really interested, if you guys can get this thing smog legal before you start the pre-orders. Thanks

Our official installation instructions and dyno figures will be available from kraftwerksusa.com in the next couple weeks. I will be sure to post when they are available!

In order to get CARB approval, you must submit multiple forms, test, and that all takes time to clear the system. Welcome to government!

We will have the kit CARB-Pending upon release. There really is no way around this. We have always followed through with our CARB testing, and we do not intend to stop.

Hey OJR, I know that the kit will use all stock components, which is great design!! But how well do they handle under the extra stress being made by the kit? I read somewhere that no other upgrades are needed, but suggested some kind of temp gauges, can you elaborate if any gauges are recommended and how will they work w/ the base kit??

OMG! TAG! It's been a loooong time coming!

Edited To Add - so can we call and order or what? I see nothing on the KW website indicating they're ready to go with sales of the Fit Kit.

I think you are asking about Hondata Reflash...

The Hondata reflash will be available for the High-Boost Fit only. The base kit uses our SuperCard engine management.

The stock components work perfect! The supercharger kit is not adding as much stress as you might think.

No gauges are required. If you are interested in some gauges, it's up to you to decide what you would like to see reported.

No hoisting of engines! Your engine stays in the chassis. Yikes, to hoist the engine, you would have to disconnect everything!

Jack up the Fit, put it safely on jack stands, and you will be able to install the kit... No problem.

Boys... Easy! Haha!

I will be careful with my grammar... The Fit kit will be available for pre-order shortly. If you have signed the interest list on the website, you will be notified when the kit goes up for pre-order.

Also, if you are on here, you will know when it goes to pre-order.
