Just to make sure I'm reading the charts right, the peak HP on the base manual kit is 121 Hp.

Has Kraftwerks had a chance to run some 0-60 times, 1/4 mile times on their boosted fit?

Well a Cooper S weighs 2590 with 172 BHP and gets just about 15 in the 1/4 and mid 6s to 60.

A stock fit is maybe 100 lbs lighter. With 121 WHP on this kit. I would have to expect that it's a bit slower in a straight line. It would be impressive to see it post sub 7 second 60s, though with a WHP of 121 that seems like a stretch without major weight loss.

i understand what you saying but the numbers that i gave you are just guessing numbers... but with the kit we should be able to pass the Cooper S on the 1/4 mile

Okay, I just barely managed to resist placing my pre-order today... It was a close call. Waiting for dyno with different exhaust.

It shows somewhat less power than we'd been led to expect by some of the posts here. Is it true that it was limited to 120hp due to CARB restrictions? If so, how was this accomplished?

I lack that virtue then. I'll settle for riding around in your K20 for the time being.

I'm really looking forward to hearing some road test reports from the M/T customers.

Oscar's the man. I appreciate all his help yesterday in answering all my questions. But I think it made me realize that I really want that high boost kit more. lol. I really cant wait for it to come out. I was actually ready to pre-order the base kit yesterday but in realizing that I will purchase the high boost kit the second it comes out, I may be holding off and taking care of my supporting mods, ie. full exhaust.

Patience is a virtue, but TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE! lol
Hey sickfit, why dont you just buy the 5lb kit, then just UPGRADE when the 10lb kit comes out instead of spending 5K or whatever its gonna be?

Damn couldnt you say like 4k lol. I hope not 5k. I totally agree with you and I was talking to him about that and he also suggested it. But my way of thinking about it is that I only want to be at the shop once. And thats too install it and done. Getting the 5lb then going back to have install and the other upgrades will definately run me more.

What I was happy about, Oscar did tell me that the difference b/w buying the base and then upgrading to high, is not a major difference in price from buying the high boost right off the bat. So that makes me want to buy the base. SOOO CONFUSED!

I want boost
