sugarphreak hasn't logged on since December 2013 and he sold his fit as far as I know.

perhaps look here:

WOW there were some major issues going on there. I really wanted to see what the WR manifold does for numbers but ultimately I wonder how it affects low end power and response.

When I had it, it felt like the low end suffered more but the top end did pull better. However I don't have any numbers to back that up.

Honestly I have been looking into swapping a ge8 plenum onto a gd3 aluminum intake runner to see if that helps improve the powerband.

Swapping the plenum? Does that work? So does the plastic GE plenum flow better or something?

according to the crz guys it does. Spoon also uses it as their upgraded manifold for the crz. I gotta dig around to find some numbers I saw at one point. It appears it adds 6wtq and 4-5whp throughout the power band.

the ge8 has a dual plenum design vs the gd3 is just a straight plenum.

So you use the stock GD runners and the GE plastic plenum? The throttle body position (intake position) and everything is the same?

Hmm... I have a Weapon R mani... The SHG_Mike plenum style mani and it wouldn't be hard to get a GE upper plenum for testing purposes.... Now all i need is a friendly dyno LOL

Damn i'd like to know about the GE upper plenum.

TPColgett are you currently running the WR mani?

the throttle body intake flange is different along with the gasket. Im not certain if a gd3 throttle body will work with a ge8 manifold. Perhaps someone could use a ge8 manifold and throttle body.

More lower end torque is what would be affected the most.
