bolt on planning.....
So you're saying this
header -> test pip -> exhaust?
Cause you need a mid pipe there whether it be stock or after market. I'm not sure if the cat delete extends all the way to where the mid pipe ends but if it doesn't, meaning it stops where the cat converter is, then yes, you will need a mid pipe.

Leaving the OEM B-pipe in and an axle-back will be low toned. Very low toned actually.
Id suggest the Aspec B-pipe, if they have them in stock.
sorry i'm not wording my question properly.
what i'm trying to ask is will i need a bpipe to connect the race header to the touring medallion? or does the race header bolt directly to the exhaust due to the cat delete on the race header?

damn this is sooo hard to understand what you are saying.
wait... i think i understand...
the header comes on the cat delete?
in that case, the cat delete should just bolt on to the factory mid pipe, and you just bolt on the tanabe exhaust on to the factory mid pipe
is that what you are saying? hahah... i'm trying my best.
why does my phrasing suck? lelel.
okay. take a look at the weapon r race header. here's a link for comparison purposes to a normal aftermarket header... https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...cs-inside.html
what i'm asking about the race header is this...
will an exhaust bolt straight up to the race header? or do i need some sort of pipe to connect the exhaust to the header?

hahaha i don't think my wording is any better
but here's the deal. this is how an exhaust works.
header/test pipe or cat converter/mid pipe/axle back
what you have there, in that picture, is the first two. it's a header and a test pipe (cat delete). all cars come standard with all four portions of the exhaust. so if you just replace the header and the catalytic converter, you will still have the stock mid pipe and the stock axle back
with me so far???
since the stock mid pipe will already be there, there is no need to buy another (only if you want), you can just take of the stock exhaust, bolt on the tanabe, and there ya go.
let me know if can clarify... anything else. hahaha

yeah i would use the neo because of tuning reasons. i guess when you do a cat delete it runs super lean. so like thats super bad for the engine. you will get most gains by tuning it right, so you can actually make use of the cat delete.
and looks too is bonus..but really its about the a/f ratio

piggy back is the only option for the fit because of the dbw throttle
