good point. but how built was it? did it utilize hondata? according to ojr, there isn't a whole lot you can do to the l15 as far as 'building' goes.

i guess what this adds up to is the following: the high boost kit may not be worth it in the end, as it will only add minimal hp gains. (like rexxx stated previously).

I just figured that with bigger injectors over the base kit w/injector upgrade, plus the revised vtec window and higher redline, 165ish hp wouldn't be to far a cry from 146. thats only,what, a 19 hp increase?

(to help my case, and the orginal numbers, the base kit w/injector upgrade dyno'd 144. something hp. if we were to assume the hondata package ups it to 160, that would only be a 16hp increase.)

 

We will not be disappointed. at all. lets leave it at that. If the jacksons are able to squeeze 200 out of it, they will. Theres gonna be a huge difference no matter what tho. even +20HP on a car as light as ours is a "whoa" kind of difference. +70 = tits. and +90 = pure awesomesauce.

btw this was the LONGEST day of my life to date. I have a really REALLY bad feeling about Friday. I'm dreading Friday right now... then Sat is gonna be like christmas morning

 

Until OJR provides us all with an update all these numbers about the hondata reflash is just speculation.

I'm looking for a good balance to be honest. I think 140WHP is adequate for the Fit. Depending on how it feels, I might opt for the high boost kit at a later date, but for my reasons for getting it, it is sufficient. I will be on pins and needles tomorrow waiting for that call because there are a few things I have to sort out regarding payment (stupid US Visa card limit!) and then the 2 day or next day shipping. It's going to be hectic and to top it off I have a meeting from 1 to 1:45 so I hope they don't call!!!

 

I'm happy fedex has a 2day option, because my only day to do the install is this SAT!!

 

It doesn't say it's a 2 day option, they call it FedEx Economy shipping, but the ETA is supposed to be two days after the day you send out by 7PM...then that all depends on when you get the package out...cuz if it doesn't make it out the same day, thats one day behind and...oh man...no more situations...AHHHHHH!!!

 

I still wanna see a warmed up stock a/t Fit dyno. I can only find m/t plots or a/t + mods.

 

OK...it's almost Wednesday...I'm crapping my pants already in anticipation and hoping I don't miss the call!!! Here's to hoping everything goes smoothly tomorrow!
