Hey guys, does anyone know if they make these for the fit. I know the s2000 and k20 guys have them and they do produce a better than stock spark. Im not looking for a power increase per say, but the more efficient quicker burn would be nice.

they are useless from a performance -> value point.
You can get a better spark from using a slightly bigger sparkplug gap and using plugs that are one heat range colder.
Our stock plugs are Denso 20/NGK 6 heat range. my plugs are the stock Densos available for a honda S2000 2.0 liter (01-05?)
spend the grand on something else. significant other, or kids.

Im just reading about all these members having coil pak issues and mine finally just crapped out. I have a spare set of cbr600rr coil packs sitting at home and im tempted to give those a try.

those coils are probably not the correct spec, even if they physically might fit.
Dwell time and the coil spec may vary too much and end up either running way too hot or not hot enough of a spark.
It would be a great alternative combined with a tuning solution, as those CBR coils must deal with more heat and much higher rpms. They would be VERY reliable in our cars if they functioned!!

Coils will die, but it's like $240 for OE replacement ones. They HAVE been revised since the ones that came on our GD's so the reliability is MUCH better. Also, if you swapped to IK-22 plugs, they should be checked, as the gap can wear AND they can come loose in the head... Either of which puts more stress on the coils and can cause them to go sooner.

I totally think they are effected by the heat, especially if you run a header. It's the reason i had mine ceramic coated and am considering a bracket setup for a heat shield...
