Dont be fooled by the pictures, the throw is shortened. The RSX uses the similar box system and I have a Shorty on there. When its not connected the shifter will sit farther back but when its all hooked up you'll see how short of a throw it is. It looks almost exact as the RSX set up so changing it out shouldn't take more then 45 minutes. THis is good news becuase after drive the 5spd Fit it will definiately help the driving experience. Haha

It's really too bad that it seems like King / Clayton doesn't visit this site more often.

I mean, this is a good example where we could have been told about this in their dedicated forum instead of having someone stumble across this on their website...

Oh well...

Man...$200 for a short shifter..

It better be as short and smooth like an S2000...which
i highly doubt.

There is another thread about this. The Mugen short shift unit was released for sale some time ago, King Motorsports.

Mugen Quick/Short shifter

Does anyone have the Mugen quick/short shifter on their car? I saw it selling on King Motorsport's website. Thanks

That is a lot of money. I dont think the Fit has that long of throw; not compaired to most cars in its class.
I bought a PaceShitter for my Mx6 years ago, it was $45. HEEEEH!!
Granted the car was made in 1988. :-/
