sorry guyz i have a question need to ask to anybody who knows

according to hyper REV magazine

HKS turbo kitt with 0,35 bars Boost can reach 150 Hp
and Top Fuel Turbo Kitt with 0,5 Bars Boost reach 148 Hp

correct me if im wrong
does that means
HKS Turbine is bigger than Top Fuel Turbine, so to reach the same Horse Power, Top Fuel Turbo kitt need higher boost ???

im using Top Fuel turbo kitt on my CVT tranny
i dont want any overboost which could crash my tranny

 

your getting confused, lol

boost does not break trannies
HP does nto break trannies

torque does....
so your question is completely irrelevant.

what you need to find out is how much torque the cvt tranny can handle.
however, im 99% sure the turbo that comes with th ehks kit and the top fuel kit have the same specs. the wastegate is most likely the only difference.

so do any of u knows our maximum torque that our cvt holds ?


say,
im about to sett my boost to 5-6 Psi
my boost still spike up to 7,4 psi
i already losen the spring wastegate and set lower on my boost controler still cant get it down to 5 psi

need help....

should i loosen more of the springs ?

 

You should really stop worrying about 2 hp, from what you've been doing it sounds like you'll end up doing more harm that good. Find a reputable tuner near you and have them tune the car, tell him what you're looking to do and he can probably make it happen.
