OT - But I thought you might get a kick out of this.. Less throttle, less boost, warmer IATs, about 1300 revs higher and BAM:

Another 5lb/min Makes merging on the highway real easy.

^hahhaha pushing so much air throttle 1/4 open.

It's like a 700hp motor? I am just guessing by the data.

Not sure, honestly. I have a theoretical range of what it could do. The turbo its self should be good deep into the 900whp range if really leaned on.

Right now the weakest link is the modded "stock" rotating assembly, which put up with 65-67lbs/min @ 9250rpm and much higher boost (37-38psi) in the old car on a smaller turbo. That tune was not the most aggressive however, but the accel vs. weight numbers put it in the lower-mid 600s.

So it's already dead man walking. There's a proper shortblock being pieced together but the plan is to thrash this one until it quits. I can't imagine it would last much more than mid 600s for any considerable period of time.

Late last month we made 410whp @ 15psi without really trying in the new car.. fat AFR, weak timing, runs cut short to 7500, only got 3-4 pulls before running out of time that night, etc.

Excuses, excuses I know.. but there is a lot more left at the same boost with just some timing and rpm!

I got rescheduled again, but with any luck shes going back on the rollers 11/23 weather permitting to get more aggressive and start using the back half of the power band.
