Flashpro kwsc issue
Flashpro kwsc issue
Is anyone else running a high-boost KWSC kit on an A/T with flashpro? I am going to have the kit installed this weekend. I figured I would go ahead and load the map on my flashpro so it will be ready to flash after the install. First it tells me "This is a shared manual/auto calibration. Please save the calibration, plug in the locked Flashpro and then reload the calibration to ensure the correct vehicle model is loaded." I believe I did this but the prompt continues to appear. I click ok and I get a warning stating "There was a problem with the calibration". Does this mean it will not work? Will I have to wait and see? I dont have a laptop so I might have to come home try to upload it then go back and repeat till it works?
You will NEED a lap top with running software version 1.28 (or later) to upload the KWSC high boost calibration file. I believe the Flash Pro also has to be registered to Hondata with your info before you can lock the FP to the car.
To lock the FP to the car, you'll need to have the key in the "ON" position and toggle through the drop down screens until you see the "Lock to Vehicle" (or something along those lines.
Once you lock the device (only need to do once), then with the key in the "ON" position you can finally upload and/or adjust calibrations. If you're going to be doing a lot of calibration adjustments with the engine off, I would highly advise putting a battery charger on the car and running at a low amp setting (2 amp trickle charge will be fine) just so you can do what you need to do without putting yourself at risk for the battery to die out in the middle of a calibration upload.
I hope any of this helps, if not Hondata has a series of Flash Pro videos which are tutorials to initially set up and use the program.

I have already locked my fp and everything. I have had it for 2 months and have really enjoyed it. Its just this calibration that seems to be giving me issues. I have always used a desktop and never had any issues. I am starting to think the calibration is corrupt?
