Very nice job.I have the K&N kit and i wonder if i can do the same thing.

first, thanks for the write up, i run a forum for mazda 6's and we have loads of how to's and they are invaluable assets (i'm new to the fit, picking it up this week!)

Does anyone happen to know where the dyno sheets got to? All the links are dead on the forum for the dyno sheets to this intake.

i have no experience on the fit, but on other cars, an intake made the engine more noticable. I wouldnt really call it "louder" like others would look at you negatively, when you get into the gas it makes the engine sound awesome. Again, this is with other cars i have heard it on, anyone comment on the fit?

^Ya, my bro has an Injen cai on his RSX-S and when you go 1/2 throttle it whistles really really loud. You can hear it clearly if you are in another car with the windows down. And when you go WOT you can hear this nice deep roar. I love the sounds so I was just wondering how loud it is on the Fit.

its not as loud as it is on the RSX, and it doesn't whistle either.

this CAI is perfect for the rainy season because the filter goes up instead of close to the bottom of the plastic in the wheel well, im going to add a 90 or a 60 degree elbow on mine to make it so it wont get any water in the air filer during those rainy seasons

Water touching the filter isn't that bad.. water getting to the same level as the pipe= time for a new motor.

Whether the filter is up or down if't the finite height of the pipe that makes the difference
