Password JDM Chamber Intake WTF do i do with this HOSE!?

So as you can see i have a hose coming off the throttle body attached to that metal bracket and then running into whatever it runs into down there... I've heard of people "bypassing" this or what i was thinking of was getting a hose that size and then just cutting it to be long enough to fill up that gap that the metal valve thing creates but then the question is posed where do i buy the proper size hose (honda doesn't have it) I'm so confused. .
does anyone who has this still come on the forums and could help?

My guess is, its a coolant line that runs threw the throttle body to help warm the car up in colder weather. Just figure out the diameter of the hose and then I am sure you can go to any auto parts place and get a length of hose to by pass it. You could also check out summit racing

when I had mine on I pulled the metal tube off and just replaced the coolant line with a longer hose from the autoparts store. I believe it was either 1/4" or 5/16" hose, cant remember exactly.

I remember that the intake came with a long piece of tube and I had assumed it was for that purpose but when I used it and clipped it down it was leaking so I did that with the metal part. I think once i have a chance I'll go ahead and pull it off and just go to the auto parts store and cut some to size. Was it for sure one of those two sizes?

5/16 worked perfectly except for all the coolant that spilled out of the bottom connection lol
