this thread should be called "jackson racing please......take my money already!!!


i was debating between the t1r turbo kit or the jrsc. i like the fact that the supercharger has no lag and seems a little more reliable but there is nothing better than a loud obnoxious blow off valve. i think the availability issue is gonna be the decider. im gonna be ready to buy in about a month and if jackson isnt ready by then, my 3grand+ will be going to aj racing rather than jackson.

 

im so saving for the Supercharger KIT... ive been waiting for the supercharger so bad... now whats the cost aka the damage ?

 

ok, so I have a update guys. The Jacksons were at my house yesterday picking up my car for some new stuff thats being worked on. The reason the kit is not realeased yet is because there will be 2 versions fo the kit released (i think). 1 for cars utilizing stock struts and another for people with coilovers (shortened shocks). The reason for this is so there is no contact between the axle and the belt (which happened to me). They said along with this being updated, there going to refine the kit just a tad to pull a little more power out of the 5lb kit.

 

what about the AT?

 

they want to finish up this kit before they start the auto.

does anybody know if their is a huge diffrence between the auto base and the auto sport? Is it in the computer or the traniy it self and how might it react diffrent to boosting?

 

I found out some VERY interesting stuff about why Jackson Racing is taking awhile with the kit. Let me tell you, you wont be dissapointed! I will update this on Saturday night as Jackson Racing will be making a HUGE announcement on Saturday at the S2000 Homecoming meet. When I found out this info on what they are working on I got really excited! So stay tuned for a update this weekend!

yea i heard about the news too...theyre gonna include a carb legal 12 psi boost for the fit...its nearly 280hp...haha just messing with everyone...i hope to hear the news soon too

i dont know about you, but i think id rather wait and get a kit that maximizes the efficiency and power from it. We already seen the numbers my Fit did with the kit, now anything to improve on that will be awesome. Shoot if what theyre doing can get me another 10hp im for it.

thats more like the news i have heard.

i heard some things about funding issues with jackson racing and that rotrex pulled all jacksons inventory.

if these come out, its probably gonna be a long time still.
