(Question) removing tailiights

I was wondering is there any other way I can replace my stock tailights without removing the rear bumper? if so how will i do it... thanks

yes, but you gotta make sure your exhaust is cold when doing it otherwise you may burn yourself

if you have a screw driver with at least an 8 inch shaft then you can just reach up from under the rear end of your car and unscrew the screw holding the bottom of the taillight in place -- one of them is right above your muffler. you can check koolkevin's write-up for pics. he installed my LED tails about 5 months ago and i haven't had any problems with them yet

Its easier to just remove the bumper. The bumper comes off with only a couple tabs removed.

Yea you can, I did a DIY on the install of my JDM lights without removing the bumper.

Personally I thought doing it without removing the bumper was super easy. Can't see how removing the bumper, even if its a few tabs and some pulling, could be easier... but to each his own.

When I did mine I removed the bumper. Its not hard to take off at all, hondafittuner.com has a write-up on this in the forums that will help.

thanks guy. but i was frighten about removing my rear bumper. idk i'll make decision later. hmmm... how long did you guys replace your tailight without removing front bumper.? i did not like removing my rear bumper because i might break the tab or something.

Sure, no problem. I was afraid of that to, but once I started doing it turned out to be really easy. Whatever you end up doing I hope it goes well.

Removing the rear bumper makes it very easy to access everything, and its not all that hard to remove
