I scratched my bumper!

So I was a total idiot the other night and didn't see that I was backing into a telephone pole. The right rear bumper scratched and fell off after I shifted out of reverse to move away from the pole. I was able to click it back into place, but now I have this huge scratch.

Anyway, should I take it to the shop? If so, how much would it cost to fix?
Or can this easily be fixed with a good DIY repair kit?
Anybody have suggestions? Thanks!

Dude, wait until you bang it up again, then bring it in. Its a small scratch. Brings character.
Unless of course you have the money to spend

Or have someone steal it, strip it, then set it on fire for insurance money!

I scratched mine on my gf's car 28 days after getting my brand new red FIT. Cost: 300$ CND for repaint all the bumper. The day before I jumped on a concrete block at gas station. What an idiot!!! My other gf burned a small hole on my front seat with a cigaret. Pffffff anyway I still love my car... I my gf.
