New Member here. 2007 Fit manual. 160K kilometers. Transmission bearings are on their way out. Do I have them changed out (clutch needs to be done too) or another option is to swap out Transmission with a used one (70k kilometers) and still get clutch done?
Very sad that this is happening 😢. I love this car. So far noise is bearable.

If the used 70k tranny is cheap, i'd go that route. Takes time to take apart the 160k tranny, replace bearings, and put it all back together.
