ok so short story,
i owned an 06 cobalt ss/sc. stage 3, injen, ottp longtubes, fun, fast and reliable. until one day a sweet lil ol lady, (and honestly i mean the sweetest lil lady) ran a stop sign and end of that car. then bought a 04 saturn ion redline, which i sold for a house down payment, then bought a 1993 ford escort gt, did the mazda 323 gtx swap on it, and that was a blast. sold that, for tuition money. and here i am...a journeyman red seal certified collision repair and refinishing tech.
a guy i went to school with took me for a ride in his ek9 b20 civic and that thing blew my mind lol. then another guy i went to school with took me in a fully built turboed d16 civic and that was reeeeee-tarded hahaha.
needless to say i was switched to the honda scene. but, needed practical, fuel efficient, and sporty. last weekend, i put a nice big down payment on a 08 fit base, mt, loaded, 30k kms, blackberry pearl metallic <---i think thats the code. put on a set of konig daylites on it and honestly, funnest car ive owned.
sooo,
last week, my friend with the b20'd ek9 buys a integra to part out, and it has a k24 block, that i bought, for $100. block, mains, crank, rods, pistons and oil pump...
so now i have a project on my hands lol...
love the fit, love the forum, and will post pics tomorrow....
