Hello
My name is Harry, I'm in Ottawa ON Canada and picked up a new to me a white 2008 Honda Fit LX. I traded my White 2008 Honda Civic Si coupe in on it. I made up my mind after I tried to load a stepladder into the Civic. Nice car but very impractical in the real world. Why the Fit? Easy, I am counting on Honda reliability and want to save money on gas. Plus it helps having the amount of space available. So far I am impressed with the performance. I have the manual transmission and the car has reasonable get up and go.

Well we have 3 models in Canada. The DX, LX and Sport. the 07 and 08 DX
did no come with A/C, no cruise and 2 speaker audio system. The LX has A/C, cruise on the wheel and 4 speaker audio and both of these had the AUX jack. The Sport had larger alloy wheels, 6 speaker, MP3 audio system and the wing on the hatch and the automatic had the paddles.
Reason I traded the Si is that for 1 it had 113,000 km on it, tranny was rough to shift and everytime I hit the gas pumps I cringed at buying premium. Other than that it was a nice handling car but totally impractical.
I had a hard time getting a step ladder into the back, had to fold the passenger front seat forward to just barely get the ladder in.
My fit is just the basic grocery getter in white with 14" wheels on it. Its fun to drive and I should be able to carry some lumber in it this spring.
