New 2016 LX Owner Here from Sac, CA

Hello,

Lamentably, my 03 Toyota Echo, with over 200k miles, faced a repair that seemed financially unintelligent. So, I pulled the trigger on a sweet deal for an LX. I had been researching this car for over year, so I had no doubt in my mind this was the ride for me.

This is my first brand new car and my first financed car. So, I'm constantly on edge about the roads I drive on and where I park (not to mention not allowing my gf to eat in it lol).

Looking forward to learning from you guys here and sharing my honda experience.

Ah, similar circumstances: a major transmission failure on my 86 190D gave me the motivation to jump into the frey of Fit ownership (which I had been eyeing for a couple of years now).

The new car gives me better hp, mpg, more room, modern gadgetry, and less headaches, although I still miss my old girl.

I can totally relate. With all of the business with a new car, and a few other personal things going on, I completely forgot about the echo until last night. I turned to my gf and shared my immediate nostalgia as well as concern where and what is happening to the car right now.

She looked at me like it was on a yard ready to get crushed, but said, "I'm sure they are fixing it up and someone who really takes good care of cars will buy it."

This is love.
