New 07 Fit RS Owner
Thought I would pop in here and say hello.
Just purchased a Fit RS (CVT) for my wife fresh off the boat from Japan.
I must say I'm very impressed so far with this car so far, it handles well, has lots of space and looks fantastic. Engine's not bad too !
Only work planned so far is some basic servicing, I'm getting the CVT fluid flushed and replaced and will look into changing the spark plugs and fuel filter just to give myself a good base level to work off.
From there I'll be swapping out the Jap head unit which keeps shouting at me in Japanese and perhaps install some better speakers etc depending on what fits in the stock locations.
A little on my background, I'm a boyracer turned bike nut. When I was younger I owned and modified few Jap cars and assisted in modifying friends Evo's, Integras, Silvias etc. I've not owned a car for a fair few years as my job comes with a company car, so I'm looking forward to seeing if the tinkering bug kicks back in now that I have a new toy. I don't foresee any engine mods though as it seems like a great engine already and I need it to be reliable and economical.
