Question What does this mean?

Hi All,
I am new to this forum, and very happy to know it is here. I love Hondas and have owned my Fit for about a year. Love it.

Yesterday 2 lights came on simultaneously.

Engine light (check engine light)
VSA (wheels with squiggly lines)

I have an appt. next Wednesday at the dealer. Is my car unsafe to drive until then?

Can I drive locally in the city? Is it okay to take on a long trip -- to me 1 hour outside the city on highways, etc.

My oil light is at 30% btw.

Thanks for your insights!
Best,
Terrie

did you drive through the rain where you skidded a little bit while turning?
sometimes the car throws a code. did you change wheels on a pre 2015 without tmps? it can throw the vsa code.

unless the check engine like is flashing it is usually related to emissions so should be ok to drive until ur service appt.

if i was u, if the car drives normally, i’d clear the code to see if it comes on again.

Thank you for this. I have had the skid lights go on in snow. This wasn't that. I kinda slightly bumped a curb yesterday, so I thought it might be misalignment, although it was while parking, so nothing major.

How do I "Clear the code"?

Thank you again for taking the time to respond!!!

np. u need an OBD2 reader to clear the code. autoparts store can read the code for you and clear it but since you have an appt already i’d just leave it for now.
